In a beautiful interpretation of the classic haunted house theme Laura (Belen Rueda ) returns to the orphanage where she lived as a child and encounters dark secrets therein . Directed by Juan Antonio Bayona, visually this film is stunning, the sets and ocean scenes are mesmerising, the scary bits are terrifying but the powerful unexpected ending will wash away your fears with tears.
